The Rio Bravo Rumble starts with a 10K run along dirt paths and primitive trails, followed immediately by a 16 mile mountain bike course that will be designed in a safe manner amongst the green rolling foothills of the Rio Bravo Ranch just east of Bakersfield. There may even be a creek crossing or two. Personal flotation device will not be mandatory. Age based Race categories are open to two-person teams or individuals. The start finish area will be at the Rio Bravo Ranch headquarters Located at 15701 Highway 178, out by the mouth of the canyon. There will be no pre-race practice as the course is located on private property through the Nickel Ranches. The Nickels are graciously letting us use their land for this one day only.
