- The campground is first come first serve
- Cost per night is $16.00. There is a drop box at the center of the campground where you pay for your site.
- We will have the SSFTA banner hanging at the entrance to the campground that can be seen from the road.
- Driving directions and nightly fees can be found at the following website. http://www.rockymountainrec.com/camp/padres-mtpinos.htm
The weekend schedule is as follows:
- Friday night, pitch in for a pizza run. Time TBD by the group on when we want to eat. (optional)
- Saturday morning, meet at the trail head @ 9:00 a.m. for those staying or wanting to depart from the campground. Meet at the base of the mountain at 9:45 a.m. for those choosing to drive up from Bakersfield.
- Post ride, No set time, sometime after everyone comes in from the ride and eats lunch. The Bike rodeo will begin. Events will be log pull, limbo, and a slalom course.
- Dinner will be sometime around 5 p.m. depending on how the rodeo lasts. The SSFTA will provide the main course. We ask that everyone bring a side dish.
- Sunday morning, meet at the trail head @ 9:00 a.m. for Sunday moring ride.
- Lunch will follow ride, Leftovers from the night before. Nothing goes to waste.

| Whiskey Flat Trail Maintenance Days
Whiskey Flat Trail needs your help! 2/11 & 2/25
Dear SSFTA members,
I hope you can join us next Saturday 2/11/2012 and/ or 2/25/2012 as Stewards of the Sequoia host our third and forth Trail Appreciation event to reopen the Whiskey Flat trail. We will be brushing and fixing the trail which has become impassable in some sections due to lack of maintenance.
This great trail has been neglected. Stewards of the Sequoia have adopted the trail and we were able to rehabilitate 2 miles of it a few weeks ago. We need your help to continue the project.
Whiskey Flat is a long trail that is anything but flat, but we have worked out a unique way to get to the project area quickly and easily. We will be using rafts to shuttle our crews across the river so we can focus our energy on the trail instead of a long hike in and out.
Please reply to this email to register.
Sierra Gateway Market will provide their great lunches for each volunteer who registers by Thursday.
